Purpose of Assignment 
The assignment provides students an opportunity to understand how to compute, interpret descriptive statistics, and compare results.

Scenario: 
Team members are to research and analyze sales results of a start-up company that makes COVID antivirus products. The company has four salespeople. The salespeople are A, B, C, and D. Their sales records (dollars) for the past several weeks are in the table below.

Assignment Steps 

Each Member: (including the team lead)
A. Will make calculations in the Excel file, Measuring Salespeople Performance Template.

B. Interpret the descriptive statistics in everyday language.

C. Identify which salespeople are the top volume seller and salespeople whose sales are most consistent. Submit your Excel file to the team classroom for collaboration.

D. Participate in the comparison of the calculations, interpretations of each member’s Excel file.

The Team Lead:
E. The team lead (or appointee) will prepare a written brief comparing the sales volumes and the consistency of the top salespeople’s sales in a Word document. Include the calculation table and the interpretations. Submit to the members for the final review.

F. The team lead (or appointee) will post this document for grading on behalf of the team.
Note: Each member earns a grade based upon their contributions to the team assignment.

Format the brief consistent with APA guidelines.

Submit the team brief in Word.
