Part Two: In your chapter on managing career information, your textbook gives numerous online sources and types of information for those seeking career help. Which of those sources would you likely use to help yourself or your clients progress toward satisfying employment? Why would you choose that type or source of information?
DB7: Read chapters 12-14 of the text. For each school age group, discuss 1) The overall goals of career development, 2) The main challenges to career development. and 3) The most effective interventions in working with students.
DB8: Read Chapter 15 and 16 of the text. Discuss the overall goals of career development for college age/emerging adults, then answer the following questions. 1) What do you think are the main challenges to career development for college age/emerging adults? What might be the most effective interventions for this age group? How does this differ from the challenges and effective interventions for adults who are looking for progression in their careers?
